This copper beauty is coming our way after being backordered for a few weeks. When purchasing our coffee maker we considered a traditional drip brewer but decided that it would command too much counter real estate. This slim, vintage-looking guy came along and really fit the bill.
The only downside to using a french press is that they are a huge pain to clean. Coffee grounds get stuck everywhere and you have to rinse and rinse and rinse. At his parents' house there's a little bucket for all kitchen scraps destined for the compost bin, and it's a great way to dump out spent grounds.
