Sunday thoughts

We're finally in! Slept at the new place for the first time on Friday after a dinner with friends at Root & Bone, with its rich southern food and gorgeous foiled ceiling (pictured below). As we go through the weekend here we've found how much we still need to move over, little things like a ruler or salt.

The puppy Madison is here too since Kev's parents began kitchen and other major renovations at their house yesterday. It'll give us a great sneak peek at what getting our own dog in our own place will be like. She's been napping a bunch, but taking her out on walks gives us great breaks into this unseasonably warm weekend and some necessary fresh air.
