I took today off and spent the morning in Chinatown and SoHo. I enjoyed a late breakfast sitting at the bar at Cafe Gitane, and am riding the train home now. Will be back in the City for dinner tonight at Contra in LES, a meal Kev and I are pretty excited about.
Until then, I'll be home hanging with my mom! The plants in our house have been flowering for the season, and the succulents I foraged from Kev's driveway have just joined the party with their pretty pointed blooms:
