Traif

Our second time there. The backyard seating wasn't all that impressive, what with the plexiglass enclosed feeling of it all. What I do love about the place (besides the food) is the clean color palette of its tables (sealed wood) and tableware (white plates, black napkins, brushed silver).

This time, unlike last, the food sang a cohesive bar with a surprising and joyful cadence in the form of bacon donuts.

butterfish with mango and pickled blackberries
fried egg on truffle toast with broccoli rabe
donuts with dolce de leche sauce, bacon bits, and coffee ice cream
