Credit cards are really a good idea if you think about them in comparison to spending cash, which you can't track, and to using a debit card, which earns no rewards. As long as you pay them off..
I cut up a credit card last night, and boy did it feel great. It was time to lighten my wallet, reduce my temptation to shop, and this one lacked the features of my other CCs: the CapitalOne customized to display a picture I took in San Juan just a week after graduating from college, and the Degas-decked Discover that offers up to 5% cash back. (Really it's all about the Dancers in Blue).
