At home waiting out Hurricane Sandy

Couldn't go in to work because the MTA has been shut down in anticipation of the storm. Sandy is expected to make landfall sometime in the next hour or two. I have been doing work at my desk in front of the window all day, watching leaves/birds/trees being blown every which way, and violently.

Wondering whether I'll be able to get to work tomorrow.

The sun has just about set. I've had to draw the blinds and turn on my lights to read, but now the howling has begun outside.
