Spring at last

Not sure why I chose a wool overcoat for the first day of spring given the non existence of the winter. Today during my lunch hour I went for a walk and found myself in the Anthropologie fitting room.

I need to make something soon. Any article of clothing will do. I'm getting to a place where each time I consider buying something I ask myself "Could I make this myself? Using better material?" YES. "Are these seams worth $298?" NO. "When and where would I wear a plunging cowl necked green leopard velvet mini-dress?" Irrelevant.

Plus I'm picky about patterns.
