I'm back from Miami and already I've had a performance review at work and sat in a dentist's chair on 3 hours rest. Again, I loved the energy in South Beach, loved the air and the constant smell of summer. I loved the diner coffee and the Italian food and loved the outdoor seating that just edges out New York in abundance. But I guess I wouldn't live there, after all. Despite dreading the cold, it felt really nice to think of home. I thought of SoHo, and thought of fall and how I wouldn't want to spend this season in any city but my own.
I think about nourishment now. Thanksgiving and soul.
Hair conditioner even. Deep sleep and green tea.
