DINER on friday afternoon

Although the day was hot and parking put me in a bad mood prior to entering the place, lunch was fantastic. Diner shares ownership and a wall with one of my favorite places on earth, Marlow & Sons, where the last time I was there for dinner I sat just a couple of feet away from Alan, the weird brother from The Hangover. Awesome. The food was on point, and the beers were cheap ($4 Presidente) and the coffee strong and served in a large mug with sugar cubes, which won me over. Best dish of the meal: Dandelions greens with bacon, asparagus, sliced radishes, snap peas, and a parmesan dressing. Yum.
perfection.
