It’s bitterly cold, and finally feeling like winter in the city. The incredible thing about winter here, that I’d missed so much during my time away at school, is that even on a day like today where the juices dripping from sidewalk stacks of garbage bags can freeze mid-flow (somewhere someone with a mind out of the ordinary is inspired by the color palette unique to the toxicity of urban liquid trash) – even on those days, the sky can be cloudless
And sunny as summer
And blue like it’s never known a single storm.
